Inspired by the traditional Afghan carpet weaving style, Rahnavard’s work delves into the delicate interplay between stability and vulnerability. In “Fragile Balance,” Rahnavard skillfully captures the essence of Afghanistan’s tumultuous history.

Afghanistan is one of the countries that due to the conflict between western and eastern powers, it has always been their military and economic investment field to confront each other, and in the meantime, it is the people of this country who are always suffering from the crises imposed on them. They are one of the biggest groups of refugees in the world.
